November Election Candidate Filing Information -
If the incumbent who was eligible to file for re-election did not file as of 5pm, Friday, August 7, filing is extended for anyone other than the incumbent. Click here for a list of offices with filing extended until 5pm, Wednesday, August 12.
Candidates need to file in the county where you are registered to vote. There is an exception for property owner districts such as the GHADs and Parks and Rec. In that case, you file in the county for the district.
You may not file for any office that is closed and going to election or closed and with candidates who will be appointed in-lieu of election because there was an insufficient number of people who filed.
