Motivated by my experience as a mom, immigrant, citizen, neighbor, and social change leader, I am committed to building a strong, equitable community.

I‘ve advanced this goal over the last two decades as a consultant for community-based organizations, bringing in funds and forming partnerships to address issues like immigration rights, juvenile justice, youth homelessness, and substance abuse prevention. It’s been rewarding, and I believe it’s made a difference.

Today, we face completely unprecedented challenges. The health, economy, and social fabric of our community are experiencing significant stress and uncertainty. The path to recovery will not be quick or easy, but I believe our community can come together in seeking solutions.

I also believe my experience, skills, and commitment to the community can make a contribution. As a city councilmember, I commit to: economic recovery to support local businesses, jobs, and public services; affordable housing for our workforce, seniors, and vulnerable persons; community wellness through partnerships for public health and sustainability; social equity in public safety, and education.

Together, we can build a future in which all Santa Cruz residents live with equity and dignity. I am ready to serve my community. I would be honored to have your vote. www.shebreh.org
