I’m Greg Swett, a walnut grower with experience in both finance and sales now running for Assembly District 30. I’m a Republican and a capitalist while believing in the rules of law. If you believe that our taxes, the highest state taxes in the country, that support the $202 billion-dollar California budget are being mismanaged, consider giving me your vote since I’m determined to work on improving the outcomes of this spending. The goal is to provide you with better schools, better roads, tolerable traffic and transportation options, affordable housing, realistic gas prices, education that work and solutions to water shortages on already approved dams. I’m focused on questioning useless mismanaged projects such as a Caltrans one on Highway 25 intended to improve road safety but ending with $2 million wasted since the first improvement collapsed after two weeks and now, they are spending $12 million more. The problem is it only improves 784-feet out of a 38-mile-long disaster-prone road.  Please consider voting for me for a change in direction for our great state.
